There were far fewer apartments with furniture, which narrowed down my search, simple furniture - so-so, but the deposit for it doubled, and the cost of rent increased, which scares off potential tenants, so most of them rent empty apartments.
Stove, refrigerator, washing machine and so on - everything will have to be bought, not to mention upholstered furniture. In the new house from Sobha, the kitchen has already been equipped, and there is a washing machine. It remains to buy furniture: a table, a sofa, a bed, a mattress, a TV. Through acquaintances who have already rented housing came to the real estate agent they checked. The very next day, I was offered a variant of the apartment with furniture, and the price was even cheaper than the empty apartments on the sites. Where is the catch?
My first question is: How and to whom are the checks written?
Answer: Directly to the name of the landlord of the apartment.
Having reduced the cost of rent, when paying with one check, as well as the cost of the deposit, went to the office to sign the contract. Do not forget - here too you can and even need to skillfully bargain.

From the base price of rent is calculated monthly tax, which will have to pratat with utility bills. This is 5% of the annual cost for 12 months. Here it turned out to be a bargain.
Rent an apartment in Dubai is more profitable if you find a variant with CHILLER FREE or A/C FREE - no need to pay for air conditioning separately - already included in the rent. Good savings, and if the sunny side and large room area, it is doubly pleasant. Huge gym, swimming pool for adults, and a separate pool for children.
From the minuses of the chosen housing - only a view of the tower cranes and the neighboring neighborhood under construction. Not really upset, because soon the construction will be finished and the view will change to a lagoon with its own beach.
Standard contract, three months notice is required to renew or move out. Additional payment to the agent at renewal, which was halved when signing the contract.
If you move out early - you will have to lose two months of rent, although even here you can negotiate.
Renting an apartment in Dubai is not an easy task.
It is not possible to calculate and foresee everything. I hope for the best and try to be less stressed. The contract from my side is signed. I am waiting for the landladys signature.
